IT'S GREAT TO MEET YOU!
My name is Althea Scott. I started my fitness career after I won 1st place in the Twinlab 2000 National Deadlift Championships in Irving, TX as a Deadlift Champion lifting 275.5 lbs.
Currently, I am a Certified Personnel Fitness Trainer (CPFT) and Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist (RES) by Professional Fitness Instructor Training (PFIT), Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer (IFPA), Specials Populations Trainer (IFPA) and Senior Fitness Specialist (IFPA) in Houston, Texas.
"Start low, Go slow” is my fitness training motto. By developing a plan/goal to assist "U" in maintaining your short and long term goals, I am able to assist in achieving and maintaining results that "U" desire.
My training in Older Adult Population, Weight Management, Core Development, along with Aquatics and several other specialty techniques, gives variety to assist clients with various resistance methods. All of my techniques can easily be done at home.
The methods used are resistance exercises that focus on strength training and flexibility that creates balance, which is considered a VERY important part of any fitness program.
TIME is what makes our programs successful! "U" must be willing to allow at least 6 weeks of training in order to see results and changes. These include; better sleep, more energy, glowing skin and reduced food cravings, etc.
Change is hard for us to accept after living life we believe is normal. The successful client will notice the changes and so will others!
I have been working as Fitness Trainer in Houston for over 15 years, working mainly with middle aged adults. Wellness2FitU understands that everyone has different levels of fitness based on their current lifestyle. My specialty ... the "BACK" of your body!
Wellness2FitU will start "U" with all the tools you need to achieve a healthy, successful lifestyle change.
